She writes essays, short stories, novels, color essays, art reviews and features, and often writes about the natural world. Parker ran White River Gallery, curating twenty exhibits, before the pandemic forced her to close. A painter, she works with oil paints and black walnut ink she makes herself. Dian has traveled throughout Morocco, Syria, Sinai, Jordan, Israel, Mexico, Greece, Turkey, and throughout Europe and the U.S. In the wilds, she has learned through surrender, love, and long hours of stillness, that everything is interconnected. Currently she lives in the hills of Vermont surrounded by forests and wildlife. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, and now studies writing with her mentor and friend, Baron Wormser, and workshops with Sabrina Orah Mark.
